Here we are at the beginning of August, with several successful Great British Skinny Dips under our belts. Despite the uncertainties of the past year, the swims have taken off!

With interest in the event growing, several venues have held or are hosting their first GBSD this year. Marbury, which had never hosted a dip before, has already had one and has scheduled a second for later this month. Lenches Lakes is a new venue. Wigton’s first swim this month, will be followed with a second one in September.

If you haven’t already done so, now’s the time to sign up for a skinny dip (or two!). Whether you’re a seasoned skinny dipper or a nudie-newbie, we invite you to experience the freedom of swimming without trunks and bikinis.

From mental health and body positivity to just feeling the rush of being alive, there are many health benefits to being naked. But if you need another reason to skinny dip, why not do it for a great cause? The Great British Skinny Dip supports the nation’s largest heart charity, the British Heart Foundation, and we encourage participants to raise vital funds to power the nation’s heartbeats.
