We are pleased to announce the appointment of Georgia Williams as the Customer Service Assistant.

Many people will already know Georgia from the online yoga classes that have sustained so many of us through the pandemic. Those who attend the yoga will know that the skill that makes Georgia’s classes so enjoyable is her ability to support every person in the class, and Georgia will now bring that skill to aid even more members in the new role.

Georgia is a keen Naturist, is from a Naturist background, and has appeared on ITV and the BBC talking about the benefits of Naturism, so has a very good understanding of our community and what people might seek.

We asked Georgia to share how she came to apply for the position:

“I am so excited to step into my new role here!

My introduction to Naturism was through my partner Luke, he told me all about the community and how great being naked socially was. For me, the biggest impact has been around my body image and mental health, both things that I struggled with a lot growing up. Seeing so many normal, beautiful bodies has allowed me to accept my own!

I had been teaching yoga for a couple of years before discovering naturism and decided that the two would go perfectly together. When we went into lockdown I started running some clothed sessions online. After speaking to Mark Walsh, I thought we should try naked yoga sessions through British Naturism. We didn’t expect to have over 100 people at those first sessions and the program quickly expanded and is still thriving now.

When the Customer Service Assistant job was advertised, it felt like the perfect opportunity to make Naturism a greater part of my day to day life. My goal is to enjoy my working time and for me this means doing something I feel passionate about! I have worked in a membership organisation previously and hope that my customer service and communication skills lend themselves to the organisation.

I have a background in marketing, customer service and management, so hope to be able to bring these to the organisation to keep promoting its growth for the future.”

I’m sure people will join me in welcoming Georgia to the role and wish her success.
