The A2 connects the Karawankentunnel with Ljubljana and Kranj. After the capital, the road heads towards the Croatian border and Zagreb east. The new A5 runs from Maribor via Murska Sobota to the Hungarian border, where the road will attach with the road to Budapest.

You can fly to Graz, Zagreb or Ljubljana. About 1 hour 45 minutes to Ljubljana.
