Koksijde is located on the coast in the province of West Flanders. A car (or rental car) is a good way to travel to and through Belgium and convenient if you need to visit some remote places. The roads in Belgium can be of poorer quality in some accepted places. A Dutch driving license is sufficient, so an international driving license is not necessary.
